For all applications beyond the usual spectrum of tasks required of a boring mill, the experts of the HerkulesGroup have developed special solutions.

Turning and grinding

The machines of the UNION brand are optionally available with turning and grinding units. For this purpose, a high-speed rotary table for vertical turning or a milling aggregate can be integrated.

Precision boring mill

All demands in the area of high-precision machining are fulfilled with the precision boring mill KG.

Integrated installation

For the simultaneous machining of workpieces from two sides, the companies of the HerkulesGroup have developed a concept with two machines working at the same time to reduce downtime and raise efficiency.

Boring mill for roll neck machining

Equipped with special supports (roller guides), the boring mills in the UNION design efficiently machine rolls with a weight up to 250 t.

Boring mills with freely definable working areas

Equipped with appropriate safety technology, freely definable working areas can be selected, which allow considerable reductions in set-up times for small series while maintaining the flexibility of a boring mill.
